This truck runs and drives and is PA inspected! Will pass again for next year. Used it as a semi-daily driver in college and made it from Pittsburgh to State college and from Pittsburgh to Erie many many times. Very good on and off road. The only off road was some light mud and lots of deep snow! Never gets stuck with the posi and 4x4 in any conditions. I love this truck but it has to go since I have no room for it in the back yard blocking the old cars in. Does not fit in the garage or it would be apart for some clean up work to the outside. This is a great quick project truck for someone and a great first restoration truck. It already runs great, tons of suspension, brake, and steering, and most importantly engine work. All the work was done within 5-6000 miles ago and all receipts are documented and in a folder.
Engine work included head gaskets, new head, complete valve job with new oversized valves, heads and intake were tanked and cleaned before valve job. Lifters are hydrolic and looked good so I did not dig into the engine anymore. It does have a cam in it. Brake system is new down to the lines and master cylinder and rear drums and brake hoses and everything in between. Steering is all new from box to drag links and drop pitman arm for the lift. Suspension has been completely overhauled from bearings to tie rod and and rear BDS shocks plus more.
Some goodies are pop-up sun roof, roll bar, custom bed cover, small grille brush guard, custom bar grille, 8" lift, 35" mud tires with 6,000 miles on them, can put up to 39" tires on the truck..I have photos of the M/Ts that were on it, power widows and locks, sliding rear window, tilt column, No A/C truck so that means no ugly vents in the dash, glass packs and dual exhaust.
This is a great truck and is so much more reliable than it was 2 years ago! Like I said, it runs good and I did all the hard mechanical work and it cost me big so clean up the metal parts and paint the underside and you have a show truck. The interior is near spotless with no cracks or rattles or fading. Take a look or I can send recent photos of anything you would like.
