2 Bedroom Flat Available October-December (1000 Block W. 9th St.) $550 2bd

I have a 2 bedroom second story flat available October thru December. There are actually three bedrooms, one furnished, the other two are not. The furnished bedroom is going to be off limits, but the other two can be used however you choose. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished. It has a W/D in the unit. The street is quiet and parking is very easy. We are also pet friendly to dogs (sorry no cats due to allergies), and will require a pet deposit per animal. The flat is very large (around 1500 square feet). It has a living room, dining room, sun room, full kitchen, one full bath, and an outside deck.
I am looking for someone who is looking for a place for the entire three months, but willing to negotiate. Whoever sublets should be responsible and not smoke inside the flat (outside is ok). The rent is $550 plus utilities. If you have any questions feel free to email as well.

AT LEAST 2 WEEKS FREE RENT/MERCYHUSRST AREA (ERIE, PA)

At least two weeks free housing, Mercyhurst area.

(NOTE: SORRY BUT NO PETS. THANKS)

Are you a Mercyhurst college student(18 or older), male or female, who would like to get a little distance between yourself and the campus, and a break from being crammed in with your roommates, for free temporary housing in return for helping a nervously and slightly physically disabled person? Are you someone, male or female, without a criminal record who needs a free temporary roof over your head and would like to help a nervously/pysically disabled person out? You maybe interested in this arrangement. I live just a twenty minute walk from Mercyhurst college.

Also, may be able to stretch your stay till christmas. I am a section 8 renter and am allowed at least two weeks for guests. However, recently at my yearly re-certification with a HUD counselor, I was told I could have guests longer if I just told them. Whether or not I could do this against the Landlord's wishes I don't know. You would have to help me research and work on this. I am willing to legally fight the landlord on this issue since I am in the transition of moving out of here by the end of december 2008 at the latest. Living downstairs from big brother landlord(literally and figuratively)has taken its toll on me.

Potential helper and flat mate must have a computer. I have a dsl internet connection. My pc is an old laptop, keys falling off, etc. Its not that I want to use yours. I want you to help do research on how long I can keep a guest and a helper, find cheap or probono legal help if I need to stand up to landlord , etc if I and yourself agree to keep you here longer.

I am a heterosexual male.I have a nervous condition, slightly physically disabled, and am on ssi disability payments. Of course I live in safe and attractive neighborhood, my low income status notwithstanding.

In return for free housing you would help with some chores, help throw out clutter and arrange the the valuable things(sentimental or real value) that I desire to keep. You would be required to ebay most of these things or yard sale them. I am of very little help because I have a long term insomnia problem too, but I will do my best to direct and assisst you. My extra bedroom is a storage area right now. While you are working on cleaning that out and leaving some things in that I want, My large living room or even my room(without me in it of course) is yours to sleep in. I have a futon mattress. We could get a used frame for it for you to sleep on. The small couch has no support and we can toss it. At least that space can be a temporary place to put the futon mattress until we make the living area into part storage area. Then the extra bedroom would be your room.

Also I would like someone to be here at night(i.e. be here no later than 12:30am-ish). Saturday night you can stay out all night and Sunday if you like. You would have ample time for yourself to get out and about during the day and evenings after you do some work around here. I would also like for you to accompany me grocery shopping and some other outings like the mall, or just walking around the
block. However my knee is "acting up" so any walking will be kept to a minimum. I have a car. And it would be nice for a change for someone else to drive me around in it sometimes. If you have a car then that would be fine too
I realize this is already overcomplicated, and I am a confusing writer, but the two weeks free stay in return for some work and social support in my flat(2 bedroom apartment)are a sure thing. Finally and perhaps most importantly I am an eccentric. For example, if you incorrectly feel that people who talk to themselves, are nonviolently moody to tears even at times, or break out into a song and dance in public, etc, are "threat to self or others" than you should not reply to this ad. You'd be saving yourself and myself time.

If interested, please reply. I will interview any people interested at a neutral location.
