A leading book publisher is seeking experienced writers/journalists to write 200- to 500-word entries in a Q & A format on a variety of topics, including natural science, medical/body, automotive, food, travel, geography, literature, history, popular culture, love/romance, and sports. Must have inquisitive nature and a writing style that is both irreverent and informative. This is an independent contractor position. Publisher will retain all rights to the content.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Assembles, applies postage, and prepares all documents for mailing membership materials.
* Performs special mailing and fulfillment requests for marketing contacts.
* Processes outbound mail by sorting it by zones or countries, weight, and size.
* Completes air bills for various carriers.
* Prepares materials for shipping.
* Orders stock as required.
* Sorts mail into different mail classes and levels such as First Class, Priority, etc.
* Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
* Must have a minimum of one year mailroom experience.
* Must be able to follow instructions.
* Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
* Must be able and willing to work over time.
* Must be able to prioritize and manage time.
* Must be detail oriented, accurate, and possess excellent organizational skills.
Location: Erie, PA
Compensation: $20 to $27 per hour
